Duro Felguera delivers a complex material handling system for the mining industry in Chile

The project, located in Mejillones Bay, enables the large-scale transport and storage of sodium carbonate using a two-kilometre tubular belt system.

Duro Felguera, through its Mining & Handling business unit, has successfully completed a project to build a port facility for the transport and storage of sodium carbonate or soda ash in Mejillones Bay (Antofagasta Region, Chile). The client is Puerto Abierto S.A. (PASA), a subsidiary of Puerto Ventanas S.A., and the facility is now fully operational.

Duro Felguera celebrates successful start of commercial production at Zgounder mine

Duro Felguera celebrates the start of commercial production of the new processing plant at the Zgounder mine in Morocco, a project successfully executed by our company for the Canadian company Aya Gold & Silver Inc. Duro Felguera will build for Aya Gold & Silver a processing plant in Zgounder (Morocco) for US$ 78 million

The filming, last May, took place at Duro Felguera’s headquarters and at the DFCP workshop, among other locations.
The project consists of the installation of several devices capable of capturing clean energy from the movements of the ocean waves and using it to decarbonise the Port.
