Duro Felguera considers environmental protection to be a key element of its activity. For this reason, the company has been integrating the environmental variable into its strategic management for years, reviewing activities and processes to ensure that they continue to be in line with the commitments undertaken.
This continuous review ensures that Duro Felguera not only complies with the applicable environmental requirements , but also identifies opportunities where higher levels of environmental performance can be achieved, linking them to the sustainable business approach.
Since 2012, the company has been certifying its business lines under a corporate Environmental Management System in theISO 14001 standard, endorsed by Lloyds Register. In parallel, our workshops have specific management systems for each activity, with their own certification for more than 10 years.
Duro Felguera’s annual programme of environmental objectives and targets is intended to be the roadmap for checking the Company’s progress in continuous improvement for the protection of the environment. The objective is none other than to implement a System of Environmental Indicators that applies to the entire company and to promote the sustainable use of resources through the systematic control of their consumption.
