Energy Storage

The Energy Storage business area is one of Duro Felguera’s most technically specialized lines, focused on the development of infrastructure for the storage of fuels, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and other energy products. This activity is carried out through its subsidiary Duro Felguera Energy Storage, which has decades of experience in the design and construction of such facilities, as well as in the manufacture of large-scale, high-specification equipment.

Its scope includes complete terminals and a wide range of storage tanks—vertical, spherical and cryogenic—for hydrocarbons, liquefied gases and other products, incorporating solutions tailored to different operational and regulatory requirements. The company directly manages all project phases, from engineering through to commissioning, with a focus on safety, reliability and operational efficiency.

Duro Felguera has delivered projects for leading petrochemical companies in international markets such as Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina and Jordan, demonstrating its ability to operate in diverse environments and under demanding technical standards.

This business area combines industrial experience, specialized know-how and in-house manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand for storage infrastructure, which is essential for energy management and the stability of today’s energy systems.
