The Board expressed “unanimous” gratitude to Felgueroso “for his contribution and dedication to the company over so many years”.
The former secretary thanked the Board for the treatment received and encouraged members to “continue with their efforts as there are lines of work that point toward success”. In Felgueroso’s words, “the Company now faces a major challenge that requires a common effort from all of you who form part of Duro Felguera, to achieve a goal that provides stability, and at the same time positions Duro Felguera once again as a flagship company, and this involves working together. Times of change, defined by the crisis in the traditional markets where the Company operates and the impact of the pandemic that we are still suffering, lead to the need to innovate, and above all, to work in a common direction, shunning critical positions which provide no solutions but only harm the common interest, and especially those criticisms which, in an exercise of cowardice, are disseminated through anonymous media with the sole purpose of creating uncertainty and discouragement”..
