Duro Felguera celebrates the start of commercial production of the new processing plant at the Zgounder mine in Morocco, a project successfully executed by our company for the Canadian company Aya Gold & Silver Inc. This milestone has been announced by our client in a note released on 30 December 2024, in which it has highlighted the dedication, expertise and delivery on schedule in this project.
The project, which commenced in mid-2022, included the construction of a mill that has demonstrated exceptional performance since its commissioning in November 2024. During the initial period of operations, the mill processed more than 45,000 tonnes of ore, with a silver recovery of 79% and a steadily growing operating capacity. This technical and operational performance is evidence of the quality of the engineering and execution.
