Espinosa highlights the new phase at Duro: “Let us be judged on what we do, project by project and financial year by financial year”

Duro Felguera held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, just a few days after the court approved its Restructuring Plan. The chief executive, Eduardo Espinosa, delivered a message looking to the future, focusing on the new phase that this historic Asturian company is embarking upon following the favourable court ruling: less focus on sheer volume, greater discipline, and a company that, from now on, wishes to be judged “by what we do, project by project and financial year by financial year”.

Duro Felguera is holding its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders this Thursday

Duro Felguera will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders this Thursday, 18 June (12:00), in the auditorium at its corporate headquarters in Gijón. The meeting will hold special significance for the company, as it will be the last institutional event to be held at this venue before the headquarters moves to La Felguera, scheduled for 1 July. The meeting comes at a particularly significant time for Duro Felguera, following the approval of the viability plan by Gijón Commercial Court No. 3. This ruling marks a decisive milestone for the company, as it validates the roadmap set out to overcome the long-standing imbalance that had been hampering its progress and paves the way for a new phase built on more solid foundations.
