Traditionally, pallets are loaded onto trucks using manual systems, such as forklifts handled by operators. This system allows approximately 70 pallets to be loaded per hour per forklift and operator (a little over two trucks).
The automatic loading system will handle the loads of multiple docks (approximately 5) in a sequence. It is expected to handle up to 150 pallets per hour.
Some of the main new features include:
- Greater truck and container loading and unloading capacity
- No need to modify the truck bed
- High number of cycles per hour
