The new Learning Plan places people at the centre of the transformation and growth process

The company has launched the Corporate Learning 2023 / 2024 Training Plan, which reflects Duro Felguera’s commitment to training as an investment for professional and personal development through learning and continuous improvement, placing people at the centre of the transformation and growth process.
The plan seeks to complement, develop new skills, help to reinforce specification and update concepts and methods, as well as gaining in agility and efficiency. Its focus is to achieve group and management objectives through three training sections: technical training, mandatory training and DF Academy.
Technical training, which comprises the training actions identified by each business line or corporate area, integrates actions on technical knowledge and management skills related to core business activities. Under this heading, more than 20,000 hours of training are planned in 142 actions with the participation of nearly 700 people.
Secondly, the plan incorporates a mandatory training package, with transversal actions, either mandatory due to legal requirements or related to company policy or commercial action. This includes programmes on compliance and regulatory compliance, sustainability awareness, occupational risk prevention, equality, diversity and inclusion, PMP-Project management professional and management of high-performance teams.
Finally, the DF Training Academy will be in charge of the training given by Duro Felguera professionals for Duro Felguera professionals, in order to ensure the transmission of knowledge and specific experiences of our business applicable to projects and management. The content of the programmes will be directly related to our core business: project management.
“Training is a development opportunity for each person and an investment in our internal talent and in our organisation. At this time of change and opportunity, we must invest more than ever in training and learning,” said P&O director Gemma Fernández Nespral, who encourages active participation and “take advantage of this important opportunity for development”.
