Augmented Factory 4.0 (AF4)

Development of the cyber-physical augmented reality system for real-time decision-making support in processing industries.

Felguera Tecnologías de la Información leads a consortium with Magtel Operaciones and ICUBE Ingeniería Internacionalización e Innovación for the development of the project “Augmented Factory 4.0 (AF4) – Development of the cyber-physical augmented reality system for real-time decision-making support in processing industries”.

The main purpose of the AF4 project is to develop a cyber-physical augmented reality system for processing industries. This system will help make “on site” decisions in real-time with the creation of artificial intelligence algorithms and with its application on mobile interactive devices.

These devices will be specifically developed for their use in industrial environments, with manual handling limitations, complementing the current data supervision, control and acquisition systems in industrial processing plants.

The AF4 project, which started in July 2015 and ended in December 2017, is funded by the CDTI through the ERDF INTERCONNECT programme (Project ITC-20151231) and by the Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness. Likewise, it is jointly funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
